Sky is seeking a Materials/Optics Engineer to join their innovative team. In this role, you will assist in designing and testing optical systems, focusing on sustainability and quality. Ideal candidates have a strong educational background, are proficient in optical simulation tools, and thrive in collaborative environments. As a Materials/Optics Engineer, your main focus will be to support the lead engineers of the project or research teams. You may assist in designing new products by drawing up 3D models, optical / materials simulations, new optical systems or material testing, more sustainable materials selection, testing new firmware implementation, and automated test software scripting. No matter what you shine at you will be immersed in a diverse team of engineers helping you focus on what you do best whilst contributing to deliver new and exciting products.
