An educational organization located in Alderwasley is seeking Learning Support Workers for both full-time and part-time positions. The role involves supporting students with special educational needs, helping to create a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Ideal candidates should have a strong desire to support young people, good literacy and numeracy skills, and relevant qualifications, like GCSE English & Maths and NVQ Level III. The position offers fantastic support and paid training.
Hours: 40 hours per week Term Time (Hours 08:15-16:15) - Part Time positions available (part time is 4 full days a week or 3 full days a week)
We are delighted advertise the post of Learning Support Workers at Alderwasley Hall School – we have full time and part time positions!
This is a term time post, based in our nurturing school. We are seeking individuals who can provide support to our young people, the teachers, the curriculum and the school during the education day. You will be creating a happy, safe and caring environment, which enables our students to learn and communicate with confidence.
Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form provides exceptional education for day and residential students aged 5 to 20. We transform the lives of young people with High-Functioning ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Asperger’s Syndrome, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Developmental Language Disorder. We are also highly experienced in meeting associated diagnoses and needs, such as Selective Mutism, anxieties and phobias. Our goal for every one of our students is to be happy and healthy with a sense of belonging and purpose.
