About the Role

• Support women and children transitioning from emergency accommodation into the community.
• Provide practical resettlement support, including help with benefits, housing, and accessing essential items.
• Deliver structured 1:1 support and group sessions, including parenting and recovery programmes like MODA.
• Promote positive relationships between women and their children and support access to local networks and services.
• Liaise with agencies such as social services, schools, and health professionals to ensure ongoing support, and attend multi-agency meetings on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the delivery of the IDAS helpline on a rota basis.
• Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.

• Hours: Part-time - This role can be combined with our other part-time vacancy of Womens support worker based in Harrogate refuge to create one full-time role.
