A healthcare trust in the UK is looking for a qualified Continence Staff Nurse to manage catheter care and deliver specialist services in both community and clinical settings. The role requires an active NMC registration and experience in continence health promotion. The nurse will liaise between care settings and train other professionals, contributing to high-quality patient care. Applicants should possess a good understanding of clinical skills related to bowel health and a willingness to mentor others.
The Continence Staff Nurse is a qualified nurse with an active registration with the NMC and experience in catheter care, continence health promotion, continence needs assessment, and training other professionals and agencies in the area.
The role involves liaising between primary and secondary care settings and other agencies in the management of treatments for catheter care in both community and clinical settings. The Nurse will also be involved in the day-to-day delivery of the Specialist Continence Service.
