Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for an industry-leading client in Atherstone, UK. This role offers a base hourly rate of £20.77 with shift allowances. The ideal candidate will have an apprenticeship background and a class 1 or 2 HGV license, with responsibilities including servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on various vehicles. Flexible shifts are available to suit candidates' needs.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified HGV Technician with experience in maintenance and repair.
- Preferably holds class 1 or 2 HGV license.
- Experience with LGV and HGV vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of various vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT.
- Diagnose faults.
- Carry out 6 weekly inspections.

The Role:
You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified HGV Technician that preferably holds a class 1 or 2 HGV license and has experience working with a variety of LGV and HGV vehicles.
Duties:
- Carrying out Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles.
- MOT prep.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Carrying out 6 weekly inspections.
Hours:
You will be working Monday to Friday, there are multiple shifts available to work depending on what works best for you. There is an early shift, day shift, Back shift and night shift available.
Pay Rate:
Base hourly rate is 20.77, with shift allowance on any back shift or night shift.
