Job summary
A leading facilities management firm is seeking a part-time Cleaner in Bury St Edmunds to keep environments safe and hygienic. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, and ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a flexible approach. Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not essential. This role is contracted to 7.5 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Enjoy working in a hands-on cleaning environment.
- Ability to adapt to various cleaning tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a hygienic environment for clients and customers.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked.
- Respond to cleaning emergencies like spills promptly.
Skills
We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 7.5 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you.
- Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
- Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
- Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
- Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
- Emptying and disposing of bin waste
- Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
- Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a hands-on role
- Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
- Have a flexible approach to working
