A leading engineering firm based in Greater London is seeking a Fire Engineering professional to join their Railways Fire Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be involved in fire safety engineering across railway and road tunnel projects, conducting fire risk assessments and developing fire engineering designs. Ideal applicants will have experience in fire safety compliance and an understanding of relevant standards. A little more about your role.
Our projects range from small‑scale to very large‑scale. WSP have been involved with high‑profile projects including High Speed 2 (HS2) stations; Old Oak Common, Curzon Street and Euston, HS2 Tunnels, Crossrail stations, numerous London Underground and Network Rail refurbishment projects. We are also involved in many road tunnel projects in the UK and the Middle East.
Fire Engineering is an integral part of developing all infrastructure designs. At WSP we are looking for people to join our high performing, dynamic and enthusiastic Railways Fire Engineering Team.
The WSP Rail Fire Engineering Team; with supportive leadership, is made up of individuals at all levels of experience and are based in multiple locations. As a very collaborative, cooperative one‑team approach, we have extensive knowledge in fire safety engineering in railways and road infrastructure and all other associated ancillary buildings. We develop fire engineering design from concept stage through to construction, assurance and commissioning, as well as carry out fire risk assessments and find solutions for retrofitting within existing and challenging infrastructures. We strive to build the unthinkable with a can‑do, solution‑conscious, positive attitude towards work.
