Overview

Are you a natural leader with a passion for organisation and teamwork? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Wellington College is looking for a proactive and hands-on Logistics Team Supervisor to play a vital role in keeping our vibrant campus running smoothly. If you’re ready to lead a dedicated team, deliver exceptional service, and make a real impact across our stunning 400-acre site, we want to hear from you! You will join on a full-time contract (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the logistics team, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-standard completion of all tasks.
  • Oversee room setups, furniture movements, waste management, and laundry distribution as required.
  • Manage team schedules, annual rotas, and provide cover for absent team members.
  • Ensure the team demonstrates the College’s core values in all activities.
  • Oversee event logistics, including setup and breakdown for conferences, lectures, and functions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Manage janitorial supplies, maintain external areas, and respond to emergency cleaning situations.
Qualifications
  • Experienced in a supervisory or similar logistical role.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of manual handling and campus-wide tasks.
  • A dedicated team player who leads by example and strives for excellence.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, visitors, and pupils.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and committed to contributing to the College community.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
