A regional council in Scotland is seeking a Health and Social Care Co-ordinator. The role involves coordinating referrals to services, conducting assessments, and working closely within a supportive team. Applicants should have good IT and people skills, with social care experience preferred. Training provided, making it ideal for career progression in social work. The position is based in various locations, depending on candidate preference.
The Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross Social Work Team has a vacancy for a Health and Social Care Co-ordinator. This is a permanent post that could potentially be based in any of the social work offices in the District, namely Portree, Broadford or Ullapool. Location would depend on the preference of the successful candidate.
There are currently 2 HSCC’s in post, one full time post in Broadford and one part time post in Ullapool, and the intention is to further strengthen this important role by being able to provide a full week service including ensuring that all annual leave can be covered.
