Neway is seeking a Human Resources Consultant to join our client based with Bath and North East Somerset Council.

Location: Keynsham Civic Centre.

Duration: 5 October – 31 December 2025

Hours: 22.2 hours/week, typically 9am–5pm

Pay: £17.53 PAYE / £22.78 Umbrella

Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a proactive and professional Human Resources Consultant to join the People & Policy team. This is a part-time opportunity to provide expert HR support during a period of authorised absence.

Responsibilities

  • Apply HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the HR & OD Advisory team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across HR, Business Support, and Health & Wellbeing functions
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Confident in applying policy to practice and resolving complex issues
