Job summary
A well-known musicians' organization in London seeks a Legal Officer to support its legal team. The role involves assisting members with unpaid fees and contract understanding. The ideal candidate will have legal advisory experience or relevant knowledge, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This full-time position is office-based for most of the week and offers a salary of approximately £31K to £33K.
Qualifications
- Experience as a legal adviser or relevant legal knowledge.
- Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good drafting and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the legal team in delivering services to members.
- Help musicians recover unpaid fees and understand contracts.
- Assist with ongoing legal matters.
