We’re looking for a Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor to join a growing, well-regarded team in York. With a strong pipeline of high-quality work and a national reputation for private client services, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise and progress within a supportive, ambitious environment. • Newly qualified
• Exposure to wills and LPAs preferred; probate-only experience less suited
• Open to NQs and 1–3PQE solicitors, as well as non-qualified fee earners
• Organised, proactive and detail-focused with strong client-care skills
• Willingness to learn and develop, particularly in HNW matters

• Supporting senior lawyers on HNW estates and complex tax/estate planning
• Running your own caseload of wills, LPAs and probate files
• Drafting documents and handling client correspondence
• Liaising with clients, intermediaries and other professionals
• Playing an active role in the team’s growth and future development

• Salary: £45,000–£55,000 DOE
• Hours: Full time (35 hours), part time considered
• Flexible working: 2 days from home; blend of Harrogate/Leeds office attendance
• Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays + extra leave for length of service
• Support for STEP, CILEX or training contract (with tuition fees covered)
• Clear progression path: Paralegal → Associate → Senior Associate
