A respected law firm in London is seeking a qualified solicitor to join their property team, advising charities on commercial property matters. The role involves drafting agreements, handling acquisitions, and providing strategic advice. The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years' PQE and a strong interest in the sector. Our client is a highly respected, full-service law firm known for its commitment to excellence and social impact. The firm's Charity and Not-for-Profit team is widely recognised for its deep sector expertise and longstanding relationships with leading charities, educational institutions, and philanthropic organisations.
- Advise charitable organisations on commercial property matters.
- Draft and negotiate leases, licences, and other property-related agreements.
- Handle property acquisitions, disposals, and lease renewals.
- Provide guidance on landlord and tenant disputes.
- Conduct due diligence and manage risk assessments for property transactions.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third-party professionals effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the wider legal team in achieving department objectives.
- Qualified solicitor (or soon to qualify), with up to 5 years' PQE in commercial property
- Experience advising charities or not-for-profits is welcome but not essential
- Strong technical grounding in property law and a genuine interest in the sector
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
