Job Description

1. Preparing and supporting the submission of corporation tax returns for several jurisdictions, including collaboration with external advisors.
2. Locating accounting information within ERP systems to provide data for tax returns.
3. Providing support by working with the wider finance team and preparing analyses for tax-sensitive items.
4. Preparing tax disclosures for statutory accounts, including deferred tax calculations.
5. Reviewing and analyzing tax balances for financial statements.
6. Preparing tax account reconciliations.
7. Preparing journals for tax accounts.
8. Assisting with providing information for tax audits.
9. Organizing the payment of taxes.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience with a 'Top 10 UK' accounting firm is preferred.
• Experience working with or in international groups.
• Experience in the preparation of corporate tax returns.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and tax accounting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with senior management and external advisors.
• Strong IT skills, with advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is required.
• Ability to work with agility and flexibility, meeting tight deadlines and handling large volumes of data.
• Commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
