Job summary
A local care provider is seeking a Female PA to support a child with ASD. Responsibilities include personal and community support, assisting with hobbies, and pet care. Flexibility in working hours is provided, requiring experience with ASD, OCD, and diabetes. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.00 to £15.60 depending on employment type.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting individuals with ASD and challenging behaviours.
- Confidence in providing personal care and community support.
- Full DBS check is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care for the client.
- Support the client in the community and at home.
- Assist the client in exploring new hobbies and interests.
- Help with pet care.
Skills
Female PA wanted to support child with ASD and OCD. The support will be in the community and at home. PA will need to be confident and have experience with ASD and challenging behaviours. Personal care is required for showering. Support in the community will include going to parks and libraries as well as going for lunch and shopping. PA will also support with client exploring new hobbies and interest as well as giving the family a bit of respite. PA will need to be aware that client has diabetes so will need to have experience with this. Working hours will bee fully flexible around PA.
