Overview

The successful PA will support a female client to live independently, build confidence, and develop daily living skills through a person-centred, strengths-based and recovery-focused approach. Building rapport and a trusting working relationship is essential.

Contract Type

Part Time, Permanent

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monitoring, ordering, and overseeing medication compliance
  • Prompting and encouragement with personal care
  • Meal planning, preparation, and batch cooking
  • Supporting with household tasks including laundry and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Promoting social inclusion and supporting the client to access the community
Specific Requirements
  • Female PA (as permitted under the Equality Act for personal care)
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, trauma-informed practice and autism
  • Reliable, empathetic, and able to work in a supportive, empowering manner
  • Committed to promoting independence and recovery
Required Training

We are looking for a PA who is either trained in trauma-informed care and autism, or willing to undertake relevant training.

Additional Information
  • Hourly Rate: £13.28
  • Hours Per Week: 7 hours of support per week (2 hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 1 hour Sunday)
