A leading finance company in the UK is seeking an Engineering Manager for Pre-Funding to lead a team of software engineers. This role involves collaborating with product management, mentoring team members, and ensuring best practices in software development are adhered to. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, especially in Java and/or Python, and knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Oodle’s Product and Engineering department is divided into two main areas:
Supporting these functions are the Platform Engineering team, the Data team, and the information security team.
The primary technologies used are Salesforce, and a collection of microservices developed in either Java, or Python, all hosted on AWS.
The Engineering Manager for Pre-Funding will be reporting directly to the VP of Engineering. You will lead & manage an experienced team of onshore software engineers to deliver a stream of awesome software releases that deliver real business value.
