Job summary
A regional healthcare provider is looking for an Assistant Technical Officer based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and functionality of medical equipment, manage stock, and maintain records. Essential qualifications include NVQ level 3 or equivalent, along with good interpersonal and analytical skills. This is a permanent, full-time role operating within a vital healthcare setting, offering competitive salaries in line with NHS guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience in an electronic related discipline is essential.
- Previous experience of working in a maintenance environment.
- Desirable to have experience of PAT Testing.
Responsibilities
- Helps look after medical equipment used in hospitals.
- Checks and fixes devices to ensure safety and proper operation.
- Manages equipment stock and orders new items as necessary.
