Approved Electrician - CompEX Environments

Circa £40,000 - £48,000 + Overtime

Based from home

Alecto Recruitment are looking to recruit an Approved Electrician to work as part of a family business who provide engineering services to the fuelling industry across government sectors and industries, including but not limited to:

1. Rail
2. Aviation
3. Water
4. Search and Rescue
5. Marine

In this role you will carry out a range of electrical tasks for customers including:

1. Electrical inspections, PPM tasks, remedial & project works.
2. Work on fuel systems and associated control systems across both private and public sectors.
3. Ensure safety compliance and deliver high-quality service to clients.

The successful candidate must have the initiative to work alone, work in teams, and be prepared to work away from home.

Experience required of testing and periodic inspection of all electrical installations.

Good fault-finding skills are essential.

Experience installing cable trays, PYRO/XLPE/SWA/PVC cabling, and knowledge of motors and control panels would be advantageous.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. NVQ Level 3
2. Clean Driving Licence
3. City & Guilds 18th Edition
4. ECS/CSCS Approved Electrician
5. City & Guilds 2394 and 2395 OR 2391

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

1. CompEx Ex 01-04
2. CompEx Ex 07-08
3. IPAF
4. PASMA
5. LPS Testing Certificate
