An educational organization is seeking a Teacher - English to work with children and young people, including those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. You will teach English to children and young people, including those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will help learners learn, develop abilities and raise self-esteem. You should be resilient and dedicated, celebrating the "huge small victories" as you progress with students. You will work with colleagues to provide a well-resourced learning environment and you will be supported by in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals to build a rewarding teaching career.
You will contribute to creating a positive, inclusive classroom that connects with pupils from diverse backgrounds and needs.
Luxborough Court School is a brand-new, purpose-built school registered for 150 pupils aged 5–19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Facilities include a large sports hall, bespoke 6th form suite and various spaces for therapeutic intervention and bespoke support. The site has extensive outdoor space, a central courtyard garden and separate secondary and junior playgrounds with a multi-use games area. The school is near Chigwell Station and within sharing distance of London and Essex via the Central Line; it is accessible by road near the M11 Junction 4.

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and teaching experience
Skills: Can-do attitude, passion for English, ability to relate the subject to pupils and build strong relationships, capacity to develop the department.
