Job summary
A reputable technology company is seeking two 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineers to work on-site in Basingstoke. This permanent position requires DV clearance and is open only to Sole British nationals due to the sensitive nature of the project. You will be responsible for managing incidents, maintaining network solutions, and collaborating with teams on system updates. The role offers a salary between £50,000 and £60,000 plus a 10% DV allowance.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cloud Administration using Broadcom NSX-T.
- Familiar with Firewall Management and Network Devices.
- Knowledge of Event Management Tooling and ITSM Processes.
Responsibilities
- Respond to escalations from 2nd Line daily checks.
- Manage PKI certificates for networking devices.
- Distribute software and security updates for network devices.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams.

We are looking for a 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineer to join a small dynamic team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers. Your role will involve carrying out planned activities via a Change Management Process, monitoring the system using Event Management tooling and responding to incidents via the Incident Process including triage of incidents and escalation via the Service Management Team.
- Responding to escalations from 2nd Line daily checks utilising ITSM tooling
- PKI certificate management for networking devices (physical and virtual)
- Distribute software, firmware & security updates for network devices
- Collaborate and support the design and engineering teams
- Maintain and support the virtual and physical network solution providing timely updates to the Operations Lead
- Carry out a readiness assessment for new releases entering service from the Engineering Team
- Produce and maintain documentation such as Work Instructions and Patching Schedules
- Cloud Administration (e.g. Broadcom NSX-T)
- Firewall Management (e.g. Cisco Firepower Management Centre)
- Network Devices (e.g. Cisco IOS, NXOS & FXOS Juniper Devices & JUNOS)
- Network Authentication (e.g. Cisco ISE)
- Event Management Tooling (e.g. SolarWinds)
- ITSM Tooling & Processes
- Cloud Administration (e.g. Broadcom vCenter – use of, not administration)
