The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including CPD opportunities and flexible working arrangements.
Are you an EP who is interested in making real change for children, young people, families and schools, at a variety of levels?
This is an exciting time within North Yorkshire Council’s Educational Psychology service. We are a valued team within the Council and are committed to growing our EP team even further in the next year. We are looking for innovative, and solution‑focused psychologists to join us in shaping the direction of our educational psychology service for the future.

These settings are currently referred to as Targeted Mainstream Provisions, or TMPs. Support to these settings will be mainly systemic, although casework will also be provided.
We have expanded our service offer via new funding streams for more proactive/targeted work developed through the Delivering Better Value projects. Our vision, is to develop a creative educational psychology offer, underpinned by consultation, empowering others, and sustainability.
We are also committed to providing our team with CPD opportunities. The team recently commissioned CPD from Kensington and Chelsea’s Bi-Borough Education Psychology Services to deliver a CPD day on consultation; the second part of this training will take place in March.
It really is a great time to join our growing and ambitious service and contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND in North Yorkshire.
