A leading automotive company in Westbury is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to handle month-end accounts preparation and support financial processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and numerical skills, along with experience in a financial team. Your Role: Role Level on the Rygor Career Journey Map: C1, Individual Contributor

We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant/junior accountant.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Assist in the preparation of the month end management accounts and commentary
  • Posting Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
  • Balance sheet Reconciliations
  • Coding purchase invoices to General Ledger
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Producing Daily, Weekly and monthly reports
  • Supporting the operational teams by providing financial analysis as required
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial processes
  • Support the year-end audit process

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

  • Familiar will accruals/prepayments/reconciliation, general accounting principles.
  • Previous experience with working in an accounting team
  • You have fantastic attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy in this role.
  • You have brilliant numerical skills
  • You are a great communicator
  • You are organised and efficient, with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure completion
  • You are rewarding, reliable and respectful
