We are seeking a dedicated & experienced Gardener to join our client’s team at a peaceful ground set within the Dorset countryside. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining natural landscapes, and values conservation-led land management.
You will be responsible for the ongoing care and maintenance of woodland, meadow, and landscaped areas, helping to preserve a tranquil and dignified environment for visitors.
- General grounds and horticultural maintenance
- Planting, pruning, mowing, strimming, and seasonal tasks
- Caring for woodland and meadow habitats in line with ecological principles
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards
- Using tools and machinery safely and responsibly
- Ensuring the grounds remain safe, tidy, and welcoming at all times
- Experienced in horticulture, gardening, or grounds maintenance
- Knowledgeable in planting, pruning, and general garden care
- A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
- Passionate about nature, conservation, and working outdoors
- Physically fit and comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Respectful and professional in a sensitive environment
- Relevant horticultural qualifications and experience in natural or conservation-led settings are desirable but not essential
- Salary of £34,000 per annum
- Permanent, full-time employment
