What you’ll be doing

You’ll work as part of a dedicated crew, loading vehicles that collect municipal recycling and household waste. Every day, you’ll help deliver a reliable, high‑quality service while following all Health & Safety procedures and contractual requirements. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Loading waste and recycling safely and efficiently onto collection vehicles.
  • Supporting your team to complete daily household collection routes.
  • Providing friendly, professional service to residents.
  • Following all Health & Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe working environment.
What we’re looking for

If you’re a team‑focused, physically active person who wants to make a positive environmental impact, this role could be a great fit. We welcome people from all backgrounds and experience levels — including those new to the waste and recycling sector.

You’ll bring
  • Reliability, strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • The ability to carry out physically active work.
Desirable (but not essential):
  • Experience in the waste or recycling industry.
  • Experience working with waste collection vehicles (full training provided).

If you need reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, we’re happy to support you.
