Job summary
A UK engineering company is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a site-based role in Leicester. The successful candidate will provide maintenance and repair on CNC machinery. Candidates should possess an HNC in Mechanical Engineering and have CNC maintenance experience, with familiarity in Fanuc and Siemens controls being desirable. The role offers a salary of £35,000 per annum and includes flexible working hours and company benefits.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Leicester

Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a long-established UK engineering company that works with some of the biggest names in the manufacturing and heavy equipment sectors?
- Provide mechanical maintenance and repair across a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery, diagnose and repair mechanical faults including gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks, carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support. Undertake refurbishment and improvement projects on plant and machinery
- Salary: £35,000 per annum
- Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, 11:30 finish Fridays)
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- CNC maintenance experience
- Familiar with Fanuc & Siemens controls is desirable but other controls will be considered
- Electrical/PLC experience would be a bonus
