Midday Supervisor required to start ASAP to join our friendly hard working and dedicated team. We are seeking to appoint a mid-day supervisor to join the team at this very popular school. The role would involve supervision of meals, promoting good eating habits and caring for children's physical safety and welfare, under the direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor. The successful applicant will be able to encourage good quality play and behaviour. The role is temporary initially for one year with a view to becoming permanent at the end of the year.We are looking for someone who:Is personable, friendly, approachable with a can-do attitudeStrives to be the best they can be with a desire to get the best out of everyoneKey responsibilities:Supervise children in the dining areaPromote an orderly and pleasant mealtime for the childrenAssist with the clearing of the dining areaParticipate in playing games and positively manage behaviour in the playgroundDuring wet weather supervise indoor play in classroomsFollow all safeguarding procedures
Hours of work - 11.45 to 1.15 pm, 7.50 hours per week, term time only. Hourly rate of pay - £12.26 per hour, rising to £12.45 per hour after 6 months
