Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a R&M service or metering environment.
  • Strong understanding of R&M systems, repair and installation procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft packages and other devices for data capture and communication.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Where will you be working?

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Site Supervisor you'll be working directly supervising a team of operatives, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
You'll conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster a collaborative work environment.
You'll monitor and manage team productivity, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
You'll be conducting regular field visits to observe performance, provide on-the-job training, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
You'll manage schedules and optimise resource allocation to maximise efficiency, address and resolve any performance issues, disciplinary matters, or conflicts within the team.
What you'll bring

- Do you have proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a R&M service or metering environment?
- Do you have a strong understanding of R&M systems, repair and installation procedures?
- Are you someone with excellent knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements?
- Are you proficient in using Microsoft packages and other devices for data capture and communication?
- Do you have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills?
- Do you hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Do you have technical aptitude?
