Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Chef Supervisor to join our team at HMP Five Wells NN8 2NG. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, collaborating with enhanced inmates, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the unit.

  • This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, with a 3 days on / 3 days off schedule, including some weekends. Shifts are between 7am and 6pm, leaving your evenings free.

A day in the life of a Chef Supervisor:
  • Supervise and assist a team of chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver three meals daily.
  • Prepare basic quality foods within a pre-set menu.
  • Maintain cleanliness and conduct stock checks.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and due diligence forms.
  • Be an excellent team player and handle conflicts effectively.
  • Undertake necessary training.
Requirements:

  • Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications.
