Job Introduction
As the Building Fabrics Estates Supervisor at Wythenshawe Hospital, you will be a key member of the Estates team, responsible for delivering a broad range of joinery maintenance services across a busy healthcare environment. Working closely with the Estates Operations Manager Building, you will oversee both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure all joinery work is carried out to the highest standards. Your role will involve coordinating and managing maintenance activities in full compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes of practice, manufacturers’ recommendations, Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), Health Building Notes (HBNs), and Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.You will ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time and within contractual response times, minimising disruption to healthcare services. Your strong organisational skills will help plan and deliver maintenance programmes efficiently across the Wythenshawe site.
