A local charity organization is seeking a Youth Worker to engage with children and young people through planned sessions on a mobile youth bus across East Surrey. This role requires experience in youth work, a UK driving licence, and a passion for helping young people. The position offers flexible working hours, is part-time with 6-9 hours per week, and provides a supportive environment for personal and professional growth.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Worker to drive our Y Bus. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with children and young people. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading youthwork sessions, either centre-based and / or detached.
You must have a UK driving licence and be over the age of 21.
As a Youth Worker you will plan, deliver and evaluate detached youth sessions on our Y bus and youth club activities for young people. Actively engaging with young people in informal learning opportunities that promote their physical, mental, social and emotional development.
Working Hours: 6-9 hours per week (2 or 3 youth sessions per week which can be delivered between the hours of 14 : 30-17 : 30, or 18 : 00-21 : 00). Term time only.
Location: The base would be Horley Young People and family centre with sessions being run across East Surrey.
£14.33 per hour for qualified youth workers (plus rolled up annual leave)
£12.60 per hour for unqualified youth workers (plus rolled up annual leave)
