Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Youth Offending Officers to join a local authority in Manchester on a contract basis.

Working to support young people, typically from the age of 10 to 18, who are involved in the criminal justice system or at risk of offending. They provide support, supervision, and interventions aimed at preventing reoffending and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • make referrals to other agencies such as housing, or drug and alcohol misuse services
  • supervise young offenders on court orders, community sentences, and after release from secure institutions
