Academics are hiring for a Youth Mental Health Worker to help and support children between the ages of 4 and 16. Each child has a personalised education and health plan, along with tailored intervention strategies designed to support their growth and successes. As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping them complete their academic tasks, supporting them in dealing, managing their emotions and de-escalating any meltdowns that take place. Additionally, you will assist in teaching functional life skills to promote their confidence and their independence, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
