We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator to join our School-Aged Health Improvement and Prevention Service, supporting the delivery of preventative health programmes for children and young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The service works with schools, colleges and community settings to improve health and wellbeing outcomes through education, early intervention and partnership working. As Youth Health Improvement Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of service activity, communications and office processes.
You will provide administrative and communications support across key areas including sexual health, smoking and vaping prevention and Healthy Schools Accreditation. Working closely with co-ordinators, practitioners and managers, you will help ensure resources are organised, partners are supported, and services are effectively promoted to education and community settings.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence in written communication and using digital systems
- Experience supporting communications, email campaigns or newsletters
- Competence in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding in CYP services

Youth Health Improvement Administrator
MAIN PURPOSE
The School Aged Health Improvement and Prevention Service supports improvements in health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough through prevention, education and early intervention.
The Youth Health Improvement Administrator will provide essential administrative, communications and office based support to enable the effective delivery of the service. The role will support co-ordinators, practitioners and managers by ensuring systems, resources, communications and office processes are organised, efficient and well maintained.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Act as a point of contact for C-Card provider sites, maintaining regular communication and sending stock as required
- Monitor stock levels for C-Card materials and sexual health resources, supporting timely re-ordering and distribution
- Support the promotion of Catch Your Breath, Healthy Schools Accreditation and Sexual Health services to CYP settings including schools, colleges and community organisations
- Organise and post content on social media platforms in line with service priorities, branding and agreed messaging
- Support the delivery of communications to CYP settings, including newsletters, email campaigns and mail merges to promote services and initiatives
- Organise networking and information events for stakeholders and settings who have achieved the Healthy Schools award.
- Order office supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels to support service delivery
- Take responsibility for day to day office management tasks including PAT testing coordination, stock takes and liaising with building management and waste services as appropriate
- Maintain accurate administrative records in line with GDPR, information governance and organisational policies
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team, including scheduling, document management and coordination of resources
- Support service reporting by collating administrative data where required
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion across all administrative and communication activities
- Attend community events and promotional activities as required
- Comply with safeguarding policies, professional conduct standards and all Everyone Health and local authority procedures
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Skills and abilities
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Confident written communication skills, including drafting emails and promotional messages
- Competent in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Comfortable using digital systems and supporting email campaigns and mail merges
- Ability to use social media platforms for professional communication and promotion
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise professionally with external partners and colleagues.

- Knowledge
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality, data protection and GDPR

- Travel across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire; must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use
