Job Description
  • Daily Rate: £168.80 - £232.57
  • Location: Rochdale, OL12
  • Job Type: Temporary

Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Year 6 Teacher for a temporary position for January 2026 and is expected to last for at least 2 terms.

Day-to-day of the role
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for KS2 students.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
