Salary: £90 – £105 per day – depending on experience

Working Hours: 08:30 am – 03:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Work closely with the Year 3 class teacher to motivate and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
• SEN Support: Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Small Group Intervention: Deliver individual and small group support to ensure effective learning takes place.
• Student Confidence: Help pupils develop confidence and self-esteem through encouragement and tailored strategies.

The successful Year 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• A basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies.
• The ability to boost pupils' confidence through positive listening and support techniques.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
