Academics Limited are on the search for a Year 3 Teacher. A well performing school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team as a Year 3 Class Teacher.

Teaching Position: Year 3 Class Teacher

Location of school: Watford, Hertfordshire

Pay scale: MPS1 to MPS6 (depending on experience)

Contract: Full time, term time only

Start date: Jan 2026

We are looking for a teacher who can foster a love of learning, maintain high expectations for all pupils, and deliver engaging lessons. You will be part of an experienced and supportive team that works collaboratively to ensure the success and well-being of their pupils.

Qualifications
  • Be an enthusiastic, reflective, and innovative teacher.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external partners.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective teaching strategies and the National Curriculum.
  • Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
  • Have a good understanding that behaviour is a form of communication and experience/knowledge of using strategies to support this.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have an excellent level of competency in English (spoken and written) and Maths.

  • Planning and delivering engaging, exciting lessons to meet the diverse needs of your class.
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development.
