Overview

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join the team working at a primary school based in Aston, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience for every student.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in all core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities
• Assess and evaluate student progress, setting and tracking individual goals
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to be active learners
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
• Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Teach phonics using the Read Write Inc. scheme, helping students to develop their reading, writing and spelling skills and teaching mathematics using Maths No Problem work scheme

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching primary school students
• Knowledge and experience of the UK National Curriculum
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
• This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
