Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the Year 3 curriculum
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development as they settle into Key Stage 2
Using assessments to monitor progress, identify gaps, and personalise learning
Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to support pupil progress
Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a growth mindset in all learners
Taking part in school life and extra-curricular activities where possible
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent or relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 3
Strong knowledge of the Year 3 national curriculum and a sound understanding of progression from Key Stage 1
Excellent classroom management and a nurturing, positive teaching style
Reflective, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement
Team player who contributes to the wider school community
