Our partnership school in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a KS2 teacher to cover 2 days per week to join their team, supporting their fantastic year 3 class. The role will be Thursday and Friday, from September 2025 until July 2026. If you are looking for a consistent role in the new year and would like part-time work, this role would be your perfect start to 2025! Your KS2 teacher responsibilities:

  • Mark and assess work taught from your days of teaching
  • Effectively the classroom teaching assistant
  • Record lesson development and briefly outline pupil progress
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Follow planning to continue a coherent learning journey
  • Deliver lessons with enthusiasm!

Requirements of the KS2 teacher role:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
  • Grade C or above (or relevant equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
  • 2 references from the last 5 years
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Job history that covers the last 10 years
  • An in-date Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Experience teaching in KS2 (desirable)
