Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a new team member to the role of Yard/Production Operative, someone who is organised, motivated and able to communicate well with others.

The role will include working with team members within the Transport/Production department handling and manufacturing products, with particular emphasis on quality assurance and maintaining a clean safe working environment for yourself and all colleagues.

High emphasis is placed on development and full training will be provided to aid in progression within the company.

Core Responsibilities

• To prepare orders for despatching, by forklift or manual handling
• The loading and off loading of lorries in a safe manner by forklift or manual handling
• Operating all machinery in the transport/production departments
• To maintain awareness of and work within the company’s management systems
• Ensure that care is taken at all times to avoid damage to any materials during production or storage activities.
• Ensure continual product quality assurance.
