Job Overview

LJ Transportation are seeking to employ a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our yard operations. This will be based at our Brentwood Depot.

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

To be considered for this role you must have a full UK car licence and valid in date forklift licence.

The role will consist of the following:

• Maintaining a clean and organized yard
• Operating machinery such as forklifts
• Assisting with inventory management
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Carrying out administrative duties whenever necessary
• You will be dealing with members of the public and must have an eye for detail

The ideal candidate will:

• Be competent at using a forklift (Licence Required)
• An understanding of vehicles is a must and some knowledge of the recovery sector will be an advantage but is not essential
• Have good customer service skills
• Computer literate
• Have a full current driving licence and be willing to be vetted by the police to fulfil contractual obligations
• Competent reading and writing ability
