Job description

Our client has a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative, on a full‑time permanent basis.

My client is a family‑owned agricultural business with 3 sites across Lincolnshire and takes great pride in supplying agricultural equipment worldwide.

They are looking for an individual who can work independently and as part of a well‑established team at their site on the outskirts of Bourne.

This role is offered with a full‑time salary between £29,835 and £31,271 per annum dependant on skills and qualifications with working hours of Monday to Friday 07:30 am to 17:00 pm – Lunch break is 1 hour (unpaid). There is on‑site free parking available, but please note you must have your own transport, and that this site is a non‑smoking site due to health and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work area daily.
  • Unloading lorries, goods in and out; stock allocation through IT systems, rolling stock take as required.
  • Cleaning, maintenance, and tidying as required, along with other miscellaneous workshop tasks as part of a busy team (such as preparing container load for export and other yard operations).
  • Working in the warehouse.
  • Assisting and covering other roles within the warehouse as required.
  • Complying with training requirements and safe operating methods.
Requirements
  • Ideally, we require a Counterbalance Forklift and rough terrain telehandler licence. Training and refresher programmes will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong sense of loyalty, drive, and energy, with a cheerful disposition and ability to work in an agricultural environment with exposure to the Great British weather.
