A growing Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Play Leader for Lightwater Village School. This role involves leading the wrap-around provision, planning engaging activities, and ensuring a safe environment for children's play. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the wrap‑around provision at Lightwater Village School, creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our children. As Play Leader, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running and long‑term development of the provision, planning engaging activities, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring high standards of care. This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

About Lightwater Village Infant and Junior School

Our school stands at the heart of the village community of Lightwater. We offer an outstanding start to education for children from 2 to 11 years old, consistently achieving excellence, yet also engaging children in imaginative and exciting themes whereby learning comes alive. The Details
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Salary: £25,001 FTE
  • Pay Scale: Associate 3.1
  • Actual Salary: £10,187.29
  • Hours: 17.5 hours - Monday to Friday 2.30pm - 6pm (38 weeks)
