Job summary

A local educational institution in Walton-on-Thames seeks a committed leader for Wraparound Care provision. The role involves managing daily operations and planning inspiring activities for children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of safeguarding and Health & Safety requirements, and a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or similar. This permanent position offers 10 hours per week for 39 weeks a year, with a salary range of £7,125 - £7,366 annually for actual hours worked.

Join our team to lead Wraparound Care provision where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. Permanent Contract

Hours : 10 hours per week

Weeks : 39 weeks per annum

£29,987.00 - £31,002.00 Annually (FTE) (£15.96 - £16.52 per hour)

Actual salary for 10hrs pw, 39 weeks per yr TTO is £7125 (F1) - £7366 (F2)

Skills & Qualifications
Essential
  • Proven experience in childcare or education settings.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, Health & Safety, and OFSTED requirements.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities for children.
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or Early Years.
  • Experience managing budgets and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and activity planning.
  • Confidence in liaising with parents and external agencies.
