Working for a well-established engineering company who foster a warm and friendly working environment, we are looking for a hands on, experienced supervisor with mechanical or assembly experience. The workshop is well equipped, very clean and tidy with all tools provided. Working hours of 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime available.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily assembly and production activities in the machine assembly department.
  • Leading by example, you will also be involved in the whole assembly process.
  • Assign tasks to workers and ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor quality control of assembled products.
  • Train and mentor workers on efficient assembly techniques and safety practices.
  • Maintain production schedules and meet output targets.
  • Inspect materials and coordinate with procurement or warehouse teams.
  • Report progress, issues, and suggestions for process improvements to management.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience within a mechanical field.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues.
