Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Workshop Service Engineer in Bridgend to service and repair a hire fleet of machinery. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with manufacturers' equipment and strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics. This role offers a starting salary of £30,000 - £34,000 plus overtime and benefits including a company pension.

• Proven experience in servicing and repairing manufacturers’ plant equipment.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (desirable).

What you’ll do

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a hire fleet of leading brands
• Carry out warranty work, plus service & repair on customers’ machinery
• Conduct inspections, servicing, and repairs of plant machinery
• Work on 15-tonne dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, diesel engines, hydraulic excavators, and hoses

What they are looking for

• Proven experience in servicing and repairing manufacturers’ plant equipment with brands such as Atlas Copco, Takeuchi, Thwaites, Bomag, etc.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (desirable)
