Metalis are currently working with an engineering company in Chesterfield who are looking for an experienced Workshop Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repairs, fault finding and general maintenance of equipment
• Strip down, repair and reassemble a variety of parts and components
• Working on mechanical and electrical components
• Read and work from technical drawings
• Work with various tools and equipment

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering OR time-served equivalent
• Experience working with motors, pumps, gearboxes and similar equipment
• Manual machining experience advantageous (for one-off repairs and parts fabrication)

Salary & Shift

£34,000 per annum

Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
