Job summary

A leading engineering contractor in the UK is seeking a Workshop Coordinator to support design and workshop teams in delivering projects on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination, particularly in the electrical or engineering sectors, and strong organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. The salary range is £45K - £55K.

Overview

BMSL Group are recruiting for a Workshop Coordinator to support our client’s design and workshop teams in delivering high-quality, on-time projects. Our client is an electrical mechanical engineering contractor. Mechanical, electrical engineering knowledge or background would be ideal but not essential. This role is based in Neath.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, resources, and schedules
• Maintain project documentation and generate progress reports
• Manage workshop personnel and support procurement processes
• Act as a key communication link between teams and stakeholders
• Support quality assurance and compliance efforts

Requirements

• Experience in project coordination, ideally in the electrical or engineering sector
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
• Ability to read technical drawings and manage resources effectively

Salary: £45K - £55K
