Job Role- Workshop Administrator- Commercial

Location: Greysteel

Pay Rate: £15 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5pm (1 hr unpaid lunch)

Type: Permanent

Your role

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting an organised and proactive Workshop Administrator to join our client’s team based in Greysteel. As the Workshop Administrator you will contribute toward the efficient and compliant running & maintenance of a large fleet of commercial vehicles.

Your Responsibilities
  • Booking in work and scheduling jobs for the workshop team
  • Recording information on vehicle breakdowns and ensuring appropriate workshop actions
  • Preparing and maintaining job sheets and maintenance schedules
  • Liaising with the Operations Director in relation to the ordering of parts, equipment etc. as required.
  • Maintaining accurate fleet maintenance and compliance records
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve order or delivery queries promptly
  • Collating, inputting, and maintaining data for purchasing logs and audit purposes
  • Liaising with the Finance Team to ensure all purchase documentation is accurate.
  • Keeping all fleet management software up to date to ensure 100% asset specification and location accuracy
  • General office administration and support to the Operations Director as required
You will have
  • Previous experience in an administrative
  • Strong clerical and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full Driving Licence (Desirable)
